So. I'm Susan. This is... interesting. The scythe is cool. I could do without being pregnant, but I can handle it. Now that I'm used to the idea.

I can't feel Time. Well, I can, but vaguely. It's not the overwhelming presence I'm used to. It's not a force for me, now. I... feel a bit lost. I hope this doesn't last too much longer...

Lobsang popped into his room in his mother's glass castle, mainly because no one would bother him there, if they even knew where to look. He paced, occasionally popping out of existence when he took steps in the fourth deminsion. Ohgodsohgodsohgods, what am I going to do?

He collapsed onto his bed and stared at the ceiling. "All right," he said clearly. "I'm going to be a father."

There. It was out. Now he just had to deal with it.

He was scared. Plain and simple. He was terrified. I can't do this. I'll mess it up. It's all going to go wrong. I'll be a horrible father.

Damn it, pull yourself together. He clenched a fist. Susan needs you. The baby'll need you, too. You'll love it. You love her.

Susan. Sensible, beautiful Susan. His girl. The only one he'd ever need. She was scared, too. He could tell. He needed to be there, to be firm, to be unwavering, so that she didn't give up.

And he would. He'd never consider leaving. He'd grown up without his parents, both of him. Neither had been particularly happy. Even if he was an utter failure at it, he'd be there.

Well. Susan's been a bit tetchy lately, so I've decided to get her a gift to make her feel better. I'm still trying to figure out what to give her, but hopefully it'll cheer her up.

Lobsang props himself on one elbow as the first light of dawn sneaks its way in between the curtains, entering stealthily as a theif in the night, taking the night with it as it left. His eyes take in the form lying beside him and a soft smile curls his lips. She really is lovely. He reaches out and touches her hair, grinning as it stirs sleepily under his fingers. He leans down and presses his lips agaisnt her cheek before settling back down beside her. He shuts his eyes. This is perfect. Nothing could ever be as amazing as this.

Lobsang and Susan appear in the middle of a crowded Ankh-Morpork street, though no one seems to notice. He turns to her. "Shall we just walk a bit and see what catches our eye?"

They appear in the dojo where a few students are already sparring with their teacher. Lobsang gives them a polite nod, and they obviously don't recognize who, or what, he is. He smiles at Lu-Tze. "What would you like to do?"
